Well, the Lil Saints didn't win the championship but that came out 2nd in their league. They did such a great job. We are so proud of them. I really enjoyed watching Bug play football. I hope that he will change his mind and play next year but that's a year away. I'm glad he had fun this season.
Tonight Bug & his team, the Lil' Saints, will be playing for the championship!!! We are all so proud of our boys. They have learned so much and have come so far. Hoping for the win!!!
It was hot but Bug did great on his 1st two football games. 1st game was a tie and they lost by 1 touchdown on the last game. I was so proud of him. This is his 1st year playing and I was hoping that he would like it.
It has been a crazy end of summer. Doug went to New York, on business, last week. It was the first time we have been apart since we have been married. Thankfully, it was not a long week and the boys & I made it.
The boys started back school this week. We are slowly settling back into the routine of school. Won't be long and we will be shuttling back and forth when the sports start up. I can't wait. Bug will be playing football and Roo will be on the basketball court. Then baseball & soccer after Christmas.
I haven't blogged in a while so here is a recap of what we have been doing.....
Roo turned 13!!! I turned 30!!! I made it through that day better than I thought I would. We set our alarm clocks and got up at 3:21 am (well.. a little before) so that we would be up at the time he was born. Cheesy....I know, but Roo & I have always done that. I still can not get over how he has grown over the last 13 years. He has passed me in both weight & height. I still see him as my baby. At least for now, he is not embarrassed to still be seen with his mom.
I caved and Bug finally got his wish....Doug gave him a mowhawk for the summer. I have to say it grew on me.
Roo shocked me when he had Doug cut all of his hair off!!! I was speechless....at least I don't have to get on to him about combing it now.
We spend our anniversary weekend with friends; canoeing and mud riding. It was so much fun. It was the 1st time that I had ever been canoeing. I can not wait to take the boys.
We went with some of our besties to the mBraves game for the 4th of July.

After the 4th, we all went to Baton Rouge to Blue Bayou. We had the best room. It was a 2 bedroom suite to accommodate the 8 of us.
Haven't blogged in awhile. Have been a busy bee. Here are some pics from some of Roo's games this season. They will have their last game this Thursday.

Roo's hit.
Here is Roo's at 1st base with a runner sliding in.
I am the wife of the most wonderful man (beside my father) that I have ever met.I'm also the mother of 2 boys. Who, by the way , are complete polar opposites. I am constantly amazed at what THEY teach me daily, when I am the one that is suppose to be teaching them. But what can I say; they are my whole world. I wouldn't change them for anything.
